Support us
Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of food banks.
Volunteers are the driving force behind our food bank, helping us to get emergency food to people in crisis. Volunteers work at our centres meeting clients and giving out emergency food, at our warehouse sorting and stacking food donations, or as drivers and helpers to collect food donations and deliver stock from the warehouse to our centres. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
We don’t ask for any specific qualifications, but you need to know that there might be some lifting involved, and it’s also really helpful if you have basic computer skills.
We are currently recruiting for a team leader for our centre at Stow-on-the-Wold and a volunteer for our centre at Bourton-on-the-Water. Click on the links below for more information on the role and details of how to apply.
Trustees
We are also currently looking for two Trustees to join our Board.
Can you bring your vision, passion, and experience to support our rapid growth, and strengthen our Board to deliver our strategy?
We would love to hear from you if you have what we need and would like the opportunity to be part of a committed forward-thinking team. The time you give will have a direct impact in providing essential support to people in crisis and will be critical as we work together to fulfil our vision of seeing a UK without the need for food banks.
An appreciation of the work of the North Cotswold Foodbank and Trussell would be advantageous. It is important that you live locally to the area that North Cotswold Foodbank covers, to enable you to clearly understand the geography and demographic of the food bank. We would suggest within a 30 miles radius from our warehouse in Guiting Power GL54 5TZ.
We welcome applications from new and experienced Trustees.
