Mill House Care Community supports North Cotswold Foodbank

11th December 2025

Residents, families and staff at Mill House Care Community in Chipping Campden rallied together to support North Cotswold Foodbank.

The Mill House team invited their community to donate in-date, non-perishable food items. Boxes quickly filled with tinned goods, cereals, rice, pasta and long-life milk as residents, relatives, visitors and staff came together to help local people facing hardship.

The initiative was led by the team at Mill House who wanted to highlight the growing need for food support in rural areas, and to show solidarity with local families who struggle with rising costs.

“On behalf of the Trustees and all the volunteers of the North Cotswold Foodbank, I would like to thank everyone at Mill House Care Home for the recent food donation,” said North Cotswold Foodbank Manager Kevin Carden. “This kind of community support makes a real difference for local people who need our help.”

Community Relations Manager at Mill House, Paul Turvey, added: “We were delighted by the response from our community. The food parcels were distributed through the food bank’s outlets, supporting individuals and families across the North Cotswold area.”

North Cotswold Foodbank would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone at Mill House for its support and for helping ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
