Roadrunners go the distance for food bank

Let’s hear it for Bourton Roadrunners who are such a generous bunch.

Every year the club donates the profits from its race events to charity, and this year members chose North Cotswold Foodbank as one of the beneficiaries.

Food bank trustee Mike Sibthorpe was delighted to accept a cheque for £906. “Every penny will be well spent,” he said. “Our charity is run almost entirely by volunteers and depends on donations so we’re really grateful.”
