Pork and apple crumble pull in the pounds

20th October 2025

It may have taken two days to make pulled pork and apple crumble for almost 100 people, but it was well worth the effort.

Because the Harvest Supper, organised jointly by St Michael’s Centre and St Michael’s Church in Bishop’s Cleeve, raised £861 for North Cotswold Foodbank. And at the end of the evening, there wasn’t an empty plate in sight.

There was a brief presentation about the work of North Cotswold Foodbank, and Vicar Tim Garrett led a quiz to round the evening off.

Huge thanks go to all who attended, and particularly to those who did such a great job with the cooking.

We survive entirely on donations and the goodwill of our volunteers and really couldn’t manage without you.
