A big “thank you” to Brio Retirement Living’s Beechwood Park in Stow who are supporting North Cotswold Foodbank. Brio Retirement Living understands how challenging Christmas can be for some individuals and households and is encouraging residents at the Beechwood Park development to give something back this Christmas by taking part in a “reverse advent calendar”. The idea of the calendar is that instead of taking a treat for yourself each day during the month you donate an item of food to the Foodbank. Each date on the calendar indicates an item on our shopping list and residents can either hand in single items to Reception on individual days or fill a whole box to hand in at the end of the month.
