Hayman-Joyce staff raise over £1000 with fundraising walk for North Cotswold Foodbank

21st September 2021

On Wednesday 15th September, the Hayman-Joyce estate agency team held a fundraising walk of 30 miles to mark their 30 years in business, raising over £1000 for North Cotswold Foodbank.

The walk went from Shipston to Chedworth Roman Villa via Adlestrop and Bourton. The route was a mixture of footpaths and lanes, taking in attractions such as Todenham Farm Shop, Daylesford Farm Shop, pubs at Little Compton, Bledington and Northleach, and picnic spots in Bourton and Farmington.

Partner Tom Hayman-Joyce said: “The Hayman-Joyce team wanted to mark this special occasion with something meaningful and supporting local charities is important to us – so we married the two together. Thirty years in business is a wonderful milestone and we wanted to make a positive contribution to the Cotswolds community while marking the occasion. What a memorable day!”

North Cotswold Foodbank would like to extend a massive thank-you to the Hayman-Joyce team. Kevin Carden, Project Manager at North Cotswold Food Bank, said: “We are very grateful for Hayman-Joyce’s support. The money raised from the walk will help us to provide emergency food parcels to the increased number of people in our local community who are struggling to feed their families”.
